More Questions?

What is the CSRD?

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is a new European Union (EU) regulation that aims to strengthen the disclosure of environmental, social and governance information by companies. To this end, new obligations are established for the disclosure of non-financial information under the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (“ESRS”), developed by the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (“EFRAG”).

This new regulation will replace the Non-Financial Reporting Directive 2023/34 and will mark a before and after in the era of reporting and sustainable management of companies.

Where does this new regulation fit in?
Since 2015, when the Paris Agreement was approved and the EU 2030 Climate Agenda was adopted, legislative development has not stopped advancing. The European Union (EU) has been working on the development of the CSRD and on the development of other regulations to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable economy and limit global warming to 1.5 °C. In this way, it seeks to meet the objective of achieving climate neutrality by 2050, in line with the Paris Agreement and the EU Green Deal.

Who is affected?

The EU has defined a phased implementation taking into account the type of company, its size and geographical location and with the implementation of the CSRD, it is expected that around 50,000 companies will have to comply with these non-financial information requirements from 2024 to 2028.

The CSRD applies to all large companies established in an EU Member State or governed by EU law, including those already governed by the NFRD. These companies would include both SMEs and large public interest entities.

The Directive considers a large company to be one that meets at least two of the following criteria:

- Net revenues of €40 million.
- Total assets on the balance sheet of €20 million.
- A minimum of 250 employees.

It also applies to publicly traded companies in Europe (except micro-enterprises) and global companies with operations or securities listed on regulated markets in the EU.

What type of accreditation does the program have?

This program offers a propietary certification from Skills4Impact and Roots 4 Susatinability Group. This gives it a validation of more that 25 experts in sustainability and sustainability regulations and more than 15 years of experience implementing sustainable business strategies.

Additionally, we have partnered with EADA Business School (Top 25 World Wide) to develop and validate or education methodology and pedagogy.

Are there financing options?

Companies can partially finance the program through Fundae.

Individuals can pay in 3 installments through Klarna for purchases bellow 1500eur. More info

W also provide scholarships (up to 50%) to individual participants with outstanding or profiles with special needs. In order to access a scholarship, we require applicants to advance a refundable deposit of €200 as a sign of commitment. More details will be communicated to you once you apply for a program. More info

Is the program available for participants outside of Spain?

Yes, the programs is fully online so there's no limitation there. Just be sure to check that your timezone matches with the time zone of the live sessions of the program.

Can anyone participate in this program?

Absolutely! We welcome anyone who wants to upskill themselves in this important regulation although we think it would be most valuable for professionals that are facing the challenge of a implementing CSRD as part of a consultation project or are responsible of it withtin their companies.

How is this program different from traditional universities, microcredential and self-paced learning programs?

Issues with the alternatives

Traditional high-ed programs

  • Tuition is expensive, therefore companies rarely support it.
  • Approach is academic and not practical.
  • Requires full-time dedication and are long, therefore not an option for many

Self-Learning

  • Material is unstructured, therefore a less efficient to consume and learn.
  • The most knowledgeable people aren't creating content.

Skills4Impact provides a challenge-oriented, transformative learning experience. Led by industry experts and set within a collaborative community environment, we ensure a deeply impactful educational journey for all participants.

Can you offer any flexibility on price for large number of participants?

Certainly. Just contact us at teamcomercial@skills4impact.org and we'll be happy to give yo u a tailored offer.

Is it possible to organize a cohort with a private workshop for my organization?
